Is WittyDoctor free?
Yes. Once your licence is verified, you get free access to the information assistants, the templates and the advanced analysis tools, with 15 queries in each.
Who can sign up?
Only physicians who are licensed and authorised to practise, in Spain or in any other country. The platform is not intended for the general public or for other healthcare professionals.
Why does my licence verification take a while?
Because we do it by hand: we check that the licence number really belongs to the person signing up. As soon as it is confirmed, you have full access.
What is advanced analysis?
Four tools for working in depth with the scientific literature: WittyEvidencIA (review of a clinical question using more than 80 articles), WittyCritical Eye (critical appraisal of papers), WittyGenogram (genograms from a description) and WittyResearch (managing and analysing your studies).
Where does WittyDoctor get its information?
Science searches reference scientific sources such as PubMed, ClinicalTrials, Epistemonikos, WHO, FDA, CDC, NICE and Orphanet. Pharma uses the official summary of product characteristics and package leaflet from CIMA, the Spanish Medicines Agency (AEMPS) database for medicines authorised in Spain. Both show in every answer the sources they are based on.
Can I enter my patients' data?
No. Do not enter anything that could identify a patient (name, surname, ID number, medical record number, address…). Use only anonymous clinical information, in line with the GDPR. This also applies to WittyResearch and WittyGenogram.
Can WittyDoctor make mistakes?
Yes. Like any artificial intelligence system, it may contain errors or inaccuracies. That is why every answer shows its sources and all information must be checked. It does not replace clinical judgement.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes: for Android, on Google Play, and for iPhone and iPad, on the App Store. You can also use it on WhatsApp.
Do you use my queries to train AI models?
No. Your queries are only used to answer you at that moment.
